Taboga Island is a small Island in the Gulf of Panama. It can be reached by ferry from Isla Naos (Amador Causeway, Panama City) within 1 hour. There is a small but beautiful beach strip between Taboga and Taboguilla. Taboga is an ideal destination for a day trip from Panama City or to spend one or two nights in one of the few hostals. If you're tired of lying at the beach there are a few hikes to the hills with an amazing view to Panama City and on the huge vessels entering the Panama Canal.
