  Safe, beautiful, and very much in the nature of canada. No big cities nearby and beautiful in the summer for camping and surfing as well is in the winter for the spectacular storms, surfing and whale watching in the fall.

Safe, beautiful, and very much in the nature of canada. No big cities nearby and beautiful in the summer for camping and surfing as well is in the winter for the spectacular storms, surfing and whale watching in the fall.
Long beach is a great place to camp and also to go surfing. In the summer (July) there is a very good music festival called Pacific Rim Summer Festival with lots of local bands and good food.
